Duties:

  • Discovers web marketing opportunities by researching and analyzing e-commerce market and sales data.
  • Tracks web competition by identifying competitor sites; conducting competitive shopping; gathering information on pricing, new products, delivery schedules, and service arrangements.
  • Develops competitor reports by analyzing and summarizing competitor information; identifying trends; developing primary competition graphs; recommending changes in product, service, and sales policy.
  • Implements news campaigns by developing and disseminating new releases.
  • Maintains promotional materials by keeping web information current.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping marketing information confidential
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking web advertising innovations; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplish marketing and organization mission by competing related results as needed.
  • Structures Web site analysis by developing standards and metrics for analyzing Web site results.
  • Measures Web site utilization by identifying number of visitors, traffic patterns, and character of visits.
  • Develops Web site visitor profile by analyzing search, visit, and linking patterns.
  • Improves Web site results by analyzing visitor utilization and feedback; identifying traffic trends; recommending changes to site features, content, functionality, and usability.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing results and trends.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
